when u look for pedro and the eye of innos after swiming in the river u come to a crossroad one leads up the other contiues to the cave with the shadowbeast.
there is a man in the crossroad which is taged "Tramp"
after asking him if he saw a novice passing u can ask him him what's he is doing there he replays "name the goblin cave we crawled through toghter"
is this a start of a quest because I can't rember a place in the game where something like that happened?
so if any of u out there know anything plz respond

I also didn't know what to do with that guy. Anyways he gets killed by the orcs later in the game. First I thought the tramp means some goblin cave from gothic1. There was only one such quest in G1 when you had to go together with a novice into a goblin cave (well atleast you did, the novice only stood infront of the cave ). I guess it's just a dialog they forgot to remove. _________________ Team wins a war, not an individual. |

just kill him... thats what i always did... hes not that tough and you can gt experience from it rather than let the orcs do it _________________ Orcs cower in my shadow... not even their elite stand a chance |

i killed him right away. _________________ Always wondering how it would be... |

never judge a person by his look..ok i've to admit i pulled my sword out too but as he didn't attack i didn't kill him:) But if you are playing as a mage, he makes fun of you by insulting you and your order. Then you have a dialog option to challenge him a duel. _________________ The focused mind can pierce through stone |

It's not meant to be taken literally -- he's just being a wise guy. It's just a smart-ass way of saying: "I don't know you well enough..so buzz off".
A more straight forward statement would have been: "Since when have we been such good friends that I should feel obligated to help you?"
But the wording in the game is better because it adds a bit of colorful imagery (crawling through a goblin cave together) to represent friendship or brotherhood. _________________ All shall hear the words of Karras...the words of Karras |
