vas quest : she died...now what?

While doing the vas quest where I need to help some woman kill a necromancer, she died in the progress; I teleported out because my strength was way down because of a curse. Now, is there any use in retrying this quest since I won't be able to do it with the woman...

yeah, you can still finish the quest without her. but, if you don't want her to die and if you have an earlier save, reload and kill all the necromancers, then talk to her, that way you won't have to bring her along.

well, I completed it now after she died. I'm not into that save/reload stuff whenever something small goes wrong. I really like to 'roleplay' this game. My 'boss' wasn't all too happy about her dying though
