Can you actually do anything with furs other than sell them? I seem to remember drax saying you can do something with them, but of course, the journal doesn't say what or how. It seems kind of silly that merchants would pay money for furs if they don't do anything, so i was hoping i might be able string the into a hide or some crap. |

No, all you can do with them is sell them for ore or trade them off for other stuff.

Wa not there a quest that required to get stuff including the Fur of a Shadow Beast to make some kind of sword Uhr Urh something? Anyway you can buy one from one of the mercants, I think in the Old Camp I took it out of one of his chest.

But, for that particular quest(its name is Ulu-mulu, not Urh-Urh  ) you get the knowledge on how to skin the beast, troll, shark etc, so you actually don' t need to have learned it earlier at Aidan' s(or other rouges').
Hey, well that' s my point: if you feel really stingy  you could finish the game without spending 4 sps for that.. Anyhow, you get to find enough stuff by the road, so you' ll never be short of ore(TIP: plunger the old camp tower, it' s allways easier that way) |
