Stealth Class

I'm wondering how good this class really is and whether or not I should continue to play as an Agent. I haven't really seen any benefits to using stealth since all the dungeons require you to fight monsters. How does stealth characters play out further into the game. Are they fun to play or should I restart as a mage or a warrior? Am I playing the game from the wrong angle? Am I missing things that I can do well because I have the stealth abilities?

I played an archer but the left handed archery felt too uncomfortable after doing real archery. But it seems like most of the fighting is in dugeons.. at least at level 1 it is. The bow becomes a spear in dungeons which does not happen in real life. I'm questioning the viability of archery myself.

Melee combat is also pretty crappy... just press the mouse button repeatedly. Thrusting/slashing has little effect and it's a pain in the ass to have to move sideways to move your sword sideways... clunky is how I would describe it.

I haven't tried magic but from the rate that mana drains.. I dunno. I've spoken to someone who said summoning creatures etc is awesome.

You have to keep in mind, Stealth class people CAN fight, you can level up just as others. I have a level 25 Thief and I love playing it..granted it doesn't do much in dungeons but if you like Stealthy/Thievery you should enjoy playing it as it is just an additive to compliment your fighting skills or magic skills.
