Some flash ideas for new spells, armors and robes in Gothic3 |
|
First of all, I want to point out that most of us are looking forward to see higher magic circles which belong to Innos, so, P.B., PLEASE, add at least a seventh circle of magic in Gothic3!
Well, the new spell I will introduce to you is grouped into the seventh circle, the name is “ESCORT OF ARCH DARKNESS”. Looks like it is only an improved version of “ARMY OF DARKNESS”, isn’t it? But there is a great difference between them, let me explain:
First, if you use this spell, all the dark creatures you can get will be
1SHADOWBEAST SKELETON +2SHADOW LORD ARCHO +1BLACK MAGICIAN +1DEMON LORD
Here, the shadowbeast skeleton is treated as the “hunting dog” of the other 4 “hunters”, and all the NEW thoughts in this spell is consisted in the black magician ----- Yes, a black magician is much more powerful than all the other creatures in my eyes, because, he CAN also use summon spells, and RENEW your escort!! Well, if the number of all the arch dark creatures you summoned is less than 3, the black magician will summon new skeletons or zombies by using the summon spells (He has five of such spells), otherwise he will protect you and attack the foes with magic. So, if you can prevent him from being killed, you will have a VERY long-lifed escort while the total number of dark creatures around you at a time will not be more than 5, so it is still an “escort” not an “army” .
I think this will be fine, “ESCORT OF ARCH DARKNESS” is such a powerful spell which can recharge itself during the long and bloody battles, and gives you a lot of help and confidence, and I am quite sure that all of us will have great fan on how to protect the black magician during all the battles. On the other hand, you could change the total difficult level of the entire game and make it a REEEAL challenge to anyone who is looking for a much harder GOTHIC3! But, of course, I think you will have to add something in the script, so the skeletons or zombies summoned by the black magician will NOT attack you but protect both you and their lord, if P.B. wants to develop such a spell/rune.
Yes, I have sent emails to a lot of people and discussed this idea with them, ALL of them are quite agree with me, so I hope P.B. develop this spell and make GOTHIC more and more wonderful. Anyway, if you think summoning a black magician is too ‘high’, it will be all right for you to change the black magician into a skeleton mage , both of them can use summon spells.
One more thing, I remember that in GOTHIC1, the insert code of the dark robe of Xardas is named as “dmb_armor_m”, so is there will be a “dmb_armor_h” robe for Xardas, who will then be a High Necromancer in GOTHIC3, and the nameless hero? To be frank, what I really want to wear is a “GOD’ ROBE” , even the robe for “Ra”, the God’s farther. And I hope in the final version of GOTHIC, there will be a high rune which is left by Ra, and the nameless hero could wire Ra’ robe and use his rune to conquer the final evil/holy foe to the entire world, even to the three Gods, Innos, Adanos and Beliar. Yes, I even think a name for this high rune: “DOOMSDAY OF ENTIRENESS”; and this rune is, of course, not grouped into Innos’ circle ---- no matter what guild the hero is belonged to, he CAN use this holy rune, because only the choosen one by Ra could have the chance to use this high rune, and our hero is recognized as the choosen one, after a series of serious tests.
Ok, here is the final suggest I have: I think all the armors should ask for some strength to wear efficiently. Say, an paladin armor need at least 100 strength to wear, otherwise, our hero can still wear it indeed, but he will act in a slow motion for this great armor is too heavy for him. As to robes, well, they do not require strength to wear.

Hi, I am back.
I apologize for the uncivilized style I used in the bginning of my first post, because I am a bit exciting at that time, anyway, I have been waiting for some new magic circles for ages (truly spoken, it is indeed some 'ages' till now). I apologize to everyone, especially to the developers of P.B.
Well, I want to send some e-mails to P.B., but I failed to find the 'contact us' link on their websites(English & German). Please help!! _________________ 道可道也,非恒道也。名可名也,非恒名也。

Thanks, jaz, it works.
To Shmaugus:
Well, if you got the Gothic comic strip, it will no longer be a question. 'Ra' in which is introduced as the farther of the three gods. You can see "Gothic Interview with Kai Rosenkranz from meditates Schatzkästlein
", and find the dialog like:
[meditate: Who was the mysterious 13th mage Saturas mentioned in Gothic I? "when we summoned the barrier, we were 12 mages. But there was a 13th mage also who controlled our powers. But that one averted soon to continue his studies. The first who were in the colony will likely remember him.. His name is Xardas" (the twelve known are: Corristo, Damarok, Rodruigez, Torrez, Drago, Saturas, Cronos, Riordian, Nefarius, Myxir, Merdarion, Xardas - Milten only joined later.) - And the manual mentions only 12 as well.
Kai Rosenkranz: Question back: Did you know that there is allegedly a fourth god? In the comic strip "Ra" is introduced as the father of the three brothers Innos, Adanos and Beliar, but in the games there´s no talk about this godfather ever. It came quite handy to us that actually no one ever asked about that. The lesson of this story: Some questions never should be asked ]
So, we can indicate that in further version of Gothic, 'Ra' is definitely to play as a VERY important role, Maby we need his might power to get rid of Beliar, or some other dangerous foes
Unfortunately, I forgot where I get that webpage mentioned above, it was about two or three months ago. _________________ 道可道也,非恒道也。名可名也,非恒名也。
