Just finished Gothic...Spoilish |
|
My god those Big boys at the end are tough & Uziels alternate form takes a long time to power up, got my ass handed to me on a few occasions with that one.
I see what people mean now about it being a little anticlimactic, but a thoroughly good game none the less. Its the first game I have wanted to finish in a long time.
Very nice game shame about the bugs. Looking forward to Gothic II. |

I found the ending incredibly easy with the Wave of Death rune.
The solution of the game is indeed not exactly one of its highlights.
Gothic 2 will most likely be improved everywhere. |

I just found the last battle(s) pretty easy as a fighter. No problem there. It WAS a bit too easy. _________________ Jaz |

i only hated to kill Cor Kaloom cause he always held me with that stupid spell of him. But the novices were easy if you attacked one of them at the time. Demon lords werent a real problem |

I found everthing easy except the sleeper.
He kept firing fire balls at me.
Cor Kalem was easy. Hes spell didn't do any damage at all.
Just made my stop for a second. _________________ =Moderator of The RPGDot Shadows=

I did really enjoy the game. Played as a Mage/Fighter combi, used Uriziel as a rune ( Mmmmmm) . Offed Kalom & his apprentices with Uriziel, moved around slowly to break the first heart & Bamm. Demon Lord to kick my ass, falling back on panic I drew Innos & began to hit the ugly lump for all I had. Glancing up at its health bar I noticed that my swings weren't doing a whole lot. if anything. New tactic, baccking off (or trying to) I decided to use magic, but I was not able to get a full charge on any spell - Dead.
Second time I had to summon a hoard of golums/skeletons to act as a sacrificial wall, (Uriziel) that worked.
The big question. Will Melee weapons (not Uriziel) do anything against the Demons? |

Melee weapons other than Uriziel cannot hurt Demon Lords, but they will hurt Lesser Demons. (I tried it with Innos Rage.)
Fighting Cor Kalom and his novices is easy, but I hate it when I kill Cor Kalom too close to the Sleeper because it wakes the Sleeper up. _________________ =Farseer=
Things are neither completely bright nor dark.
Do you go right? Or do you go left? A simple decision, yes? No ambiguities. Only the dream of the path not taken! And so one might stand in this place and contemplate for a long while. What will I miss if I go left? What will I lose if I go right? And in my indecision, have I chosen a worse fate? |
