NoTR: The locations of the pieces of the ring to the portal

I'm currently in the large forest looking for one of the pieces of the ring. Lares brought me to the spot, and the map shows that the piece should be in the area, but now that I'm here, I can't find anything. Where's the piece at?

Thanks.

HINT:

Notice how you are around some stone pillars? Examine them carefully.

I thought it was the pillars. I found 2 switches and pressed them both, but nothing happened. I'll give it another shot though. Thanks!

Pillars by Lobart's farm: 2 switches, nothing happens no matter in what order I press them.

Pillars by Sekob's farm: no switches there at all

Didn't try the one at the forest but Lares doesn't want to come with me (I found him his replacement but no new conversation options appear after that) must be a bug

All the the stone pillars have at least 3 switches to press (it may be 4, not sure,
but its definitely not only 2). If you only found 2, keep looking.

The event that happens at Lobarts farm is different from the other ones.
You should see Cavalorn there and he will explain some things to you.

I met Cavalorn and he said that we have to find the mechanism. But I found only 2 switches on the stones.

btw I'm in chapter 3 when doing this and I'm asking myself could it be possible that add-on quests in Khorinis don't work anymore because a lot of stuff isn't seem to be working well if you know what I'm saying I haven't been to the add-on world yet, some people are there allready in chapter 2.

I finally found the third switch by clicking on the pillars aimlessly. Boy that scared the crap out of me.

Who is Lares' replacement? I've talked to all the named citizens in the harbor district but none recognized the ring.
