whats up with this weed? can anyone tell me how do i use it?
   

whats up with this weed? can anyone tell me how do i use it? (in Gothic 2 of course, in real world i know how to handle it )

i dont know nothing about it...what smoking gives u?where i can find it?do i have to be alchemist or somnething to prepare it?...

I suppose you mean the swampweed, don't you?

Well, you'll need 3 plants during the reloading ritual for the Eye Of Innos - but aside of this, the only benefit of consuming swampweed (the cigarettes, I don't know if anything will happen after eating the plants) is some nice dilated perception - which can also be pretty annoying during fights.

As far as I've found out, tobacco just exists for atmospheric reasons - like many other things in Gothic. Tobacco is used together with hookahs.

For information concerning the smokeable swampweed see my post above...

Smoking is useful only in GI - it will earn you some EXP when you try it for the first time.

well actually ive found weed very useful, for instance the cave with the dragon slicer near the black troll, when i was weak i couldnt kill the last 2 skeletons warriors so i used snapper weed and swamp weed to make everything go slow and me run fast so i dashed in got the sword and dashed out.
