Ralph Ellison Strikes Again? |
|
While hiking in the mountains of the Ashlands, (as you do) I was viciously attacked by an invisible Cliff Racer and an Invisible Rat, both at the same time!
Only blind luck and a lot of wild swinging of my sword saved my hide.
Has anyone else been attacked by invisible creatures? and wouldn't it be more fair if they were wrapped in bandages or something?

Do you have a creature mod installed? There is at least one (I forget which) that adds invisible monsters to the game...I've encountered invisible shalk stalkers and things called 'Shades' I think...very tough to defeat because you can't see where they're at! I used to editor to remove these critters from the leveled lists...

Nah.. I'm strictly a "no mod" kinda guy. I think these were just glitches Hammer. Unless "Tribunal" added invisible animals of course? But I don't think so. I would have thought that they would have created new creatures to be invisible, not just use the old ones. Glitches, that's what it was.
It's definitely a troublesome idea though isn't it, invisible Cliff Racers. Visible ones are bad enough. They always seem to latch onto me when my health is low and once they do, you really have to stand and fight to get rid.
I can kill them in four blows, (The sword...not the nose) but the question is how many shots will they get in while I'm doing that. They're a complete pain. You hear that running your nails along a comb cry that they make and spend the next few seconds with your neck craned, trying to see which way they are coming from. (My wife caught me leaning forward over my desk, in an attempt to see more sky on my monitor.... how embarrassing) When "Invisible Cliff" had a go at me, I was spinning like a dervish saying "Where is he, where is he..Gaghghg!"
