no but if you have sneaking as a major skill you can pickpocket some of charachters there and get good sword or you can insert it with console... console commands and mods like that are considered cheating, and cheaters sux

The warehouse in sayda neen has some better weapons. You need to lockpick to enter it.
There is a axe in a hollow tree near the light house. (not the one right next to the light house)
Break open a house (next to warehouse).
Break open storeroom of tradepost

There's even a shipwreck east, southeast of Seyda Neen that has daedric equipment lying around. But I won't give you descriptions on how to find it because then it would be a spoiler

Without having to kill a single enemy, you can get a long sword with an enchanted electrical ability...

You should treasure these early days of bad equipment.

I think the people that screwed up their characters and had to restart three times probably got the most out of the game.

With no equipment you're forced to think of strategies to defeat enemies. With good equipment the combat becomes pretty boring.

Now I can kill almost anything with one hit! But it's hard to throw away my equipment...

The aforementioned electrical sword was used by me right up until I got daedric stuff. Get it.

I heartily agree. However, while my last character found it and put it to good use, my most recent character can't work out where the hell it is...

He's currently running around with a Steel Vipersword; while it make a really cool thunderclap noise when you hit someone, it's usually out of energy when you need it...
