Sit down, friend. This is gonna sting a little, but it's a pain all serious Gothic players have to deal with...

There is no way to get the Heavy Guard's Armor. You can get armors as good as, or better than, Heavy Guard's Armor. But you can never wear the Heavy Guard's Armor.

To get heavy camp armor, you must be level 20 and be in Act 4. By the time this happens, the Old Camp has banned you and you are no longer a guard.

I hate to have to be the one to tell you this. But hey, life goes on, life goes on.

Steady, pal, steady. You'll get GOOD armor. Just go along with the flow.

There are at least two other ways to cross the gap at the Ruined Monastary.

Uh, what does this have to do with armor?
Never mind...

You can get heavy mercenary's armor after leaving the Old Camp, and you can also commission Wolf to make you an armor from Minecrawler plates. It's the ugliest armor in the game, but it does have the best protection of all other armors, save two.
