Can someone tell me where I can find a bow or crossbow? I spent about four hours trying to find one. Oh, and how can I get some ore fast? Making swords is not exactly fun.

First, you don't have to keep making swords. You want easy ore? There are lots of exploits out there that will let you get easy ore. Want to do it legit way? Simple.
Beat up the people in blacksmith. Take all their blades, make swords out of them. Each sword=50 ore. You can make at least 40 swords from all the people in the smithy. I assume this is your first time, you wont need more than 3000 ore OVERALL in the beginning of the game. Also, swords are easier to trade with. It takes 50x less time than moving the ore. (heh) You should be able to beat up diggers easily... and the smith people ARE diggers.

You want to buy a bow? Goto the Old Camp. Exit it: If you exited through north exit (one that is on the ground), turn left and run.
If you exited the South exit(one where you have to go up, and it's made of bricks), turn right and run. You might have to get away from the walls a little. You'll see 2 guards standing and guarding something like an entrance. (if you talk to them, they'll say that the 'orc land' starts there). Go a little to the right of them (do not enter the orc land). You'll see a small path leading DOWN. Follow the path. You should meet a few Goblins on the way. Just keep running. Soon you'll see something that looks like a farm. Look around the farm. You'll see a guy that looks like an Old Camper. He sells bows. Trace your steps backwards by following the path until you see the Old camp.
If you want to visit the NEW CAMP:
follow the path forward, you'll soon come to something that looks like another Farm. There will be a dude that is dressed in Blue Clothes. He's part of the New Camp. He can teach you hunting. If you continue the path, you'll soon come to the bridge... Cross the bridge, turn LEFT and follow the path down. You'll come to the New Camp, its entrance is hidden in the wall.

Sorry if that was too detailed, but i assume you're completely new to the game. Enjoy.

Not true, if you hold down shift as you move the ore, or anything else, you will move it one hundred at a time.

corrected (sorry for incorect version, thanks to anonymous for advice):

use + left/right turn = 1 item per click
use + left/right strafe = 10 items per click
use + left/right turn + shift = 100 items per click

I knew there was supposed to be a key to move more than one at a time. They shouldda made it Shift+arrow. Not Ctrl+shift+arrow.

Dani: There is no strafe involved in moving a hundred at a time. It's Shift+ctrl+left/right arrow.

Thanks for the tip sui.

But still, early on I'd rather carry Swords, so if I get beat up I keep my money ;P
