If you have certain warrior skills, you will be able to join Redoran, the Legion, and the Fighters Guild.

I thought that Telvanni was against everything the Mage Guild stands for - I'm sure that's what the mages told me. And I'm the Head of the Mage GUild, and no-one in Telvanni will talk to me without liberal applications of money.

When a Mage joins the tellavani they change their attitudes toward him. They wouldn't talk to me now they are all freindly and there is a Televani master trainer who took my mysticism up to 100 for me.

Join whatever house/guilds you want.

It's not really that hard to meet requirements. My character has all his major skills in combat/security and I'm the Archmagister of Telvanni. My magic skills are in minor, and really I don't even use them. Just find someone who will train you up to the 50s (or higher) and create a spell that only costs 1 mana to cast, and cast it over and over to raise it the rest. Easy enough. Combat/security skills are even easier/faster to raise manually.

Guilds are even more trivial. I'm going to try and master all with my char. Dunno if you can do both thieves and fighters, though.

high rank in mage guild
medium rank in warrior guild
novice in imperial cult
