i must say beating up ignaz, using his own spell on him and the reporting that 'it worked' ranked pretty high on my 'all time best moments' again evryone has done that one, but that doesnt make it any less satisfying

i also seem to remember the two mercs outside akil's (?) farm, speaking to one of the farmers and him saying something along the lines of 'what can a bunch of farmers do against thoes mercs', then challenging the two mercs and letting the farmers take care of them while i chowed on popcorn.

Im still early on in the game and dont have many great moments

My best moment was when in the VoM I used a scroll and transformed into a dragonsnapper and started exploring the "old" places. As I walked ( eating all the fieldraiders, molrats etc. as I thought I was the biggest, meanest, fastest killing machine) I reached the entrance to the New Camp.So I decided to go up the mountain trail to visit the stone circle. It was midnight and as I was climbing suddenly two skeletons jump me and wack me to pieces in 2 strokes. I got so scared that I never went there again until my 3rd time playing G2 when I heard Cor Angar's amulet was there.

My favorite moment was when I first started to play GothicII and I explored the world, talking to all people and find out how the relations lie between all the people.
Unfortunatly this experience can only happen once.

Once on pesky orc shaman kept messing up my ranged attacks - I snuck close, readied my crossbow, I shoot and it moves! Miss.. Distance was long enough to the shaman and he kept moving. Just as I was about to give up due to wasting too many bolts, I shot and missed, but this time, the bolt bounced up from the ground, hit the rock behind it, bounced back from it too and blam, hit the shaman between the eyes - dead orc on spot.

Or the first time I ran into stone golem near stone fort - there I was, running happily, when suddenly this thing charges me and hits me - bam! I flew so high up in the air, that I saw almost whole valley heheh.. Of course, landing wasn't that good. Also, not in Gothic 2 but in Gothic 1 - I once went too close to the river, while running to the swamp camp, and the riverbed had steep edges there, so I slowly but surely slided into the river, which runs to the 2 waterfalls near swamp camp. I thought that OK, no worries, I will just go down with the flow, through waterfall, and then get out. Well, that waterfall threw me out as if I was a cannonball, being shot from a cannon! That was pretty mean, first the fast waterflow in the river and then suddenly I fly very fast through the air.. I think Kor Angar was pretty surprized, seeing me crash land on his pad, dieing instantly..

It happened in G1 but that's okay right??

My friend had just started playing the game and was trying to get the hang of it. He ventured into a pack of wolves and turned around to run away. He ran into the river close by only to smack into a lurker that was swimming there. My friend screamed again, and swam away from the lurker to the other side. As he got out of the water he was attacked by two bloodflies. He is frantic and blindly running about at this point, and runs straight into a fourth wolf who proceeds to eat him. He yelled something to the effect of "What the h*** is this - WILD KINGDOM?!!?"

In G1 I would say 3 great moments: The vision of the sleeper at the brotherhood camp, the baal that went crazy in the orc cementary and when you go in the ore storage in new camp and you come transport ouyt, transport back to new camp and everyone angry waiting for you
In G2 when I first entered the grils for fun house in the habor I was shocked and ammased at the same time

Another "Whoops!" moment was when I was running around and came from Onar's farm, was closing in to the tavern and suddenly saw a Seeker walk past the tavern. I thought "Well, I'll show you!" and loaded up my last active spell. Error no. 1: I failed to notice that it was Large Firestorm. Anyways, there I go, aiming at the Seeker and charging up the spell, and JUST as I was about to release - Error no. 2: Rukhar walks towards the door of the tavern, Seeker passes and suddenly my char targets Rukhar. And then the spell went off..

Rukhar was grilled right away on the spot, the AoE effect burnt most of others also in the tavern, farmers and such, those who were alive - Orlan and 1-2 farmers - ran out with their little sad weapons high in air. Another shot grilled the Seeker, and also them. Reloaded anyways, I didn't exactly plan to barbeque the tavern folks. But, lesson learnt, aiming at times can go pretty wrong.

Ah yes, good times. I remember in Chapter 5 I was a Dragon Hunter, and I was doing a quest to make Torlof my captain. Anyway, after the incident with the orcs in the castle, I went to pay a visit to Garond. Well, I didn't get very far because Parcival yelled that it was me who had let the orcs in and started attacking me. Oric, Garond, and the other two knights promptly drew their swords and proceeded to beat Parcival into submission. I was about to say thank you, but they weren't done yet. They then plunged their swords into him! I was like, "hey, that's not cool," and I attacked Oric. Naturally, he fought back, so Garond and his knight posse killed Oric!
Another great moment came in Gothic. I was a relatively low-level character, and I went into the orc-land (the entrance past the two guards). I quickly met an orc there, and then another and another. So by the time I ran back out of the orc land (same entrance as before), I had a relatively big group of orcs following me. I used "r" to look behind me and saw the medium armor guard was dead already, and the heavy armor guard was firing his crossbow at the passing orcs. Suffice to say it didn't take long for the orcs to kill him too. Well, anyway, I was running my ass off toward the front gate of the Old Camp. Naturally, when I got there, the guards came and started attacking the orcs. But then something bad happened. Two orcs got in front of me and barred my entrance. Well, in an act of desperation I took out my bow and started firing it at them. By now the orcs and guards had made a circle around me and were all fighting. It was delightfully hectic! I killed one of the orcs, but then my focus accidentally went to the guards! I accidentally killed one before I knew what was happening! By now my health was low, and the guards and orcs were angry at me, so I pushed my way out of the bedlam and ran towards the camp. Naturally, guards came toward me to avenge the guard I had killed, while the orcs (who had finished with the gate guards) ran after me. When I reached the castle entrance I took a left and headed down toward Snaf and Mud. The both took to their heels. What happened next was that I ran toward my hut. When I got inside, the orcs couldn't fit in after me, so they started killing the crowd around me. After awhile, I ventured outside, only to the cut down by an orc who was standing a little off to the side. A nice adventure.

the big orc who could

so its late in the game. im heading up the mountain (to kill the black troll, i think,) i get half way across the bridge, when oh no! three orcs and one is a colonel. i pull out my big sword, time to rumble. the colonel comes right at me and the other two go on either side of the ropes. well i kill the colonel and before i can decide who to go after next, the one on the left falls off! i look down to see if it killed him... oh good it didnt! so i kill the one with balance, pilliage their bodies, and turn around to go find the orc who chickened out. i get to the other side of the bridge, and guess who comes limping around the bend he sees me i see him we both draw swords and...

yep, he dies.

My best moment was when I started playing G1. I had never played an RPG before and I still remember the tickling sensation in my stomach, when I met Diego, explored the world, did my first quest, got a better weapon than rusty sword etc until the end. It was as if I were a little child waiting for my Christmas presents. And just when I thought that everything was fine - BOOM the Old Mine Collapsed, fire mages dead... It was so cool.
Probably the funnyest moment was when I was with Xardas, Pyrokar and Vatras to restore the Eye of Innos and on my way back I walked with them. There were some scavengers on the way back and they started throwing fireballs at it. They accidentally hit each other and began duelling Since they were immortal NPC`s, they could have fought there forever but after a while I reloaded. Also, when I was playing as a mage and in the fifth chapter I wanted to try out old Uriziel (Wave of Death). I used it in the harbour, where the knights stood. Fire in one hand, water in the other and when I united them, I killed about 10-15 knights. It was kinda fun to see that massive destruction.
