i think you don't have the strength and
weapon to kill lurkers!
check it!
if you just started,get some exp by killing
lesser monsters(molerats o.a.)or do some
quests for people(diego).
post again if it don't work

Well, I managed to kill him by luring him off the dam. He is splattered all over the rice fields.
Here is what I have:
STR: 15
Talent: Master (1-handed)
Weapon: Bloody Fly Sting

Lurkers loves fresh water. River banks ,lakes and ponds are the best hunting ground for lurkers. |

Ask somebody to cast telekinesis on you and move you up to it. Then you can grab it.

I am a pacifist and I like the orcs ,esp. after meeting Ur Shak and Tarrok ...so I did my best to avoid fight with them. I love the orcs more than the klootzaks in that bloody old camp castle 
To get the statue icon...you need stratrgy.
Look and observe carefully at the topography surrounding the orc camp and one "safe" spot will help you get the icon safely and easily.
Its easier, more rewarding and satisfying than to simply wipe out the orcs.
TIPS :
This is how I got the icon:
you need to find a quiet spot.....a little distant away from the orcs to use transformation scroll to get to that "safe spot" to get the icon.
Then use magic a second time to obtain the icon.
It took me almost 30 mins running around the orc camp to find a safe spot
and finally when I found it....it was a breeze.
Try it and see if it works...if not... then I will give you more details to obtain that icon. If you can get the icon you can easily open the gate and the orcs won't bother you.
Man..I am totally involved and addicted to this game. I just love it too much |

or you can use a bug in the game like i did
just transform into bloddflie while standing at the gate of the temple and you will reappear as a bloodflie at the other side of the gate
hehehehe i love bugs and orcs :d
