Pls. Help, need more magicka !! |
|
Hello,
here is my (begginer) question : how do i get more magicka ?
I'm under the sign of the mage (0.5 X INT) and at lvl 23 i have about 140 magica (aprox. 90 INT). But my problem is that i've heard people (bragging ?) about havin 10000 (10K) Magicka !!!! WTF ?????
This means some 5000 INT at least...
I don't get it...And it's strange since a spell of fourth barrier for instance costs 120 Magicka...
Thx. |

A combination of fortify magica and restore magica potions can make your "mana well" very deep indeed. Particularly if you take advantage of the alchemy exploit, you can make "superversions" of those potions. You can also mix up fortify intelligence potions instead of fortify magica.
I think you can work a similar scam with spells, but I've never attempted that. _________________ =Proud Member of the Non-Flamers Guild=

Hmm..but this will only be temporarly...
However, to what amount of magicka should I expect to have without exploits ? Because suppose i have 4x multiplier each time i level up. This means about 200Int for lvl. 50 => about 400Magicka. If a spell costs > 120 ....... |

Well, if you wanted to be a big-league spellcaster, you probably needed to be a Breton or High Elf, which gets you an additional boost to your mana max.
If you're level 50, store-bought restore magica potions should be easy to find and easy to pay for. A standard potion gets you 50 points (5X10), so two will give you most of your 120 points spent on the spell right back. A quality potion gets you even more.
Using the exploits, the effects are temporary, but can last 1000 seconds easily. That's a long time... _________________ =Proud Member of the Non-Flamers Guild=

Several reviews complained about weak magic in this game. They say "magicians are very weak at begining and still not very strong at the end". Amount of magicka is one of reasons.
However I do not completely agree with them. Better to say is that magicians is more difficult to play, to level up and fights are sometimes longer (you must run away, regain your magicka and than continue...). |
