well, i took all the weapons, and fled to the sect camp, robbed the smith and then came back 2 days later. as it turns out, it still crashes. so i went to a previous save and tried it, the sme number of skels later, the same crash happened (eg last save it was 3 and then boom, the save before that it was 6 skels). it is definitely a reporducable bug in winXP. i'm just going to kill the skel mage and move on - i'll find the other 50 skill points i need to reach 6th circle somewhere else. my middle of the road multi class character is too weak to do the ulu mulu quest right now.

haha yeah i did the same thing, in the orc temple, keep hitting the wrong switch to bring up a lesser demon who gives you 600 xp when you kill his ass. i leveled up once and got waaaaaaay bored of it, i went to continue on my mission.

Awwwww now you've gone and hurt my little feelings "Anonymous". True I should of put a warning up but you didnt have to be a brainless chipmunk and continue to read the entire post.

As for repeatable, Im pretty sure it is since all you've got to do is sleep a few days in the game and the Necro will have made more scrolls for you.

I am at the end of my little journey so I decided to collect all the XPs I could. Killed all the Guards, beat up all the Shadows (just couldn’t bring myself to pick on the diggers or the guys from the other camps) and slaughtered all the critters. Went to Fog Tower and cleaned house, the wolves scared the shit out of me. Anyway, I decided to try the same thing with this Skeleton Mage. I left everything in place, bones and weapons littered the ground like condoms in a Bangkok whore house. I ran all over the place trying to see if the system would go belly up before I got fed up and sliced the Mage like a hunk of salami on Christmas Eve. The bug did not show up. The bug definitely resides with the sunken tower Skeleton Mage.

Really? How did it happen? I have a save that I can use to replay the scenario.

I did the 'kill waves' thing, running back and forth in the tower, killing six skeletons per wave (after solving the Chromanin Quest there are two Skeleton Mage's there).

Suddenly, when one of the mages finished his summoning spell, the game crashed bigtime.

Unfortunate, I dont have a saved game with this bug.

Best Regards

True.

Rob the dead mage. Read the book "Chromanin" you find. Try to solve the "Stranger Quest". Its the most brain-bashing quest in the entire game.

I’ll try next game. I am so depressed with the ending that I don’t what to play another game right now. The best thing about the ending is the credits…They had some pretty big guns as consultants on this game.
