Three switchs in the temple

I got in the temple in chapter five, but I've come upon 3 switchs and i am stumped. There are 3 symbols a purple one, a yellow one, and a red one. What do i do to advance in the temple?

you must memorize the order that they are in and face the symbols and walk to the left you will see a wall with a stone blocking it if you look around there is a switch next to the door press it and you are in a room with two swtichs press them and will will figure out the rest

You have to find the right combination. It´s painted on a wall in a prominent location.
If you want to know the combi search the forum or read JemyM´s FAQ.

When will that faq be updated? Some of the information in there are wrong...

Do you go right? Or do you go left? A simple decision, yes? No ambiguities. Only the dream of the path not taken! And so one might stand in this place and contemplate for a long while. What will I miss if I go left? What will I lose if I go right? And in my indecision, have I chosen a worse fate?

For example, I remember the faq says that the crossbow does not autoaim, so it cannot be used to shoot the targets in the temple. I used crossbows without trouble...

Without trouble with or without autoaim?

I mean I was able to use the crossbow to aim at the target, which contradicts the faq.

Also in the faq, it said that there is no Shadowbeasts in the forest, but I found some.
