Important stats maxed out...now what?

I am hearing that lots of people are starting over again because they put there maj and min skills in wrong or something like that. I am only like lv 35 (which is really easy to get...just a little time and paid training) and already have the skills that mean the most to me practically maxed out. So with a couple errors, you can still keep playing. I am now just going to mess around with casting and heavy armor(and I am a thief) so just keep in mind you will have lots of 80's, 90's and 100's that are don't have to be your maj or min skills.

I found some awesome heavy armor so I just pay a bunch and now I wear like all 3 types....Don't worry about the best effiency...you have plenty of time to get what is important maxed out.....

I have a problem conserning max attributes. I'm few lvls away from getting all attributes @100 as i have "maxed" the point gain/lvl - then what? If i lvl again i can't put any points in any attribute and i can't leave the lvl screen untill i've distributed all points. Any solutions to that? Am i forced to get drained in at least 3 attributes before lvling? Would that even help? Worst of all is that allmost all major & minor skills are still around 40...

How the hell did you get all your attributes close to 100 and have 40 in maj and min?

I did the math and that just doesn't add up. I have like close to 100 in most of my maj and min skills but only have 100 in my primary atributes that goes with my skills. I even edited my character a little bit to give him a little more End because I hate having hardly any hit points.

If you get your attributes drained by magic, they will still have a base and that is what the point distrubution goes off of. If you really need to get some of your attributes down, just use this editor to deduct (this is crazy actually using it to take away but what the hell)

'player->SetEndurance"80"' - for endurance of course
For the rest of them, just replace Endurance with what ever attribute you want. You do this in the console screen by pressing ~ to bring up that window.

I hope this helps...

freakinaye: First off - I made Dark elfs more like the idea i have about them with the editor (lowered some stats actually & added disease res) & started a custom class (Shadowmaster). All minor skills are @ 15 or so when starting & major @ 30. By raising 3 skills with 10 points (one of them being major/minor) you get 3x5 points to spend /lvl. Raising just all minor to 45 gives you 15 lvls & getting majors to 40 gives you 5 lvls more. 20x15=300points to spend. I took the lady as a birthsign so that gives 50 points extra. Having 7 attributes you can raise by 5 & all starting around 40 average it adds up to 420 needed points to get them @100. So i'm really not too far of doing that.
Secondly - i just got my first stat to 100 (most are 90-95) & did a quick experiment. After getting next lvl i did not have an option to put points in that attribute (obviously), but that made me think that maybe after you have all attributes 100 you dont get any points to spend, you just get the hp increase. Can someone confirm that? If it's not like that, then i guess that console command is the only option - thx about that.

LORD_LSD, it seems that Bethesda nicely balanced the game so that min-maxxing stats like you did has few benefits and some drawbacks so it was pretty much a waste of time. Sorry but this isn't really a numbers game, it's more role-playing.

Dear Guest: I do know it's role-playing, and that would be exactly what i'm doing, if i wanted to just max everything i could have done it when making the custom race with the editor, but i didn't, as the process itself is part of my characters story.
-Shadowmasters must forgo 20 yrs of training and must be moderately trained in all forms of attack & defence allthough the idea is that they are never seen unless they want to be seen. Also the use of magic must be well learned. Training consentrates on silent movement & swift assasinations for those must be mastered as well as opening any lock that blocks the way. After this training period my shadowmaster recieves a call from the blades to help in a minor matter - and ofcourse makes nice profits doing other jobs in the process.-
As i feel that by "just" playing the game i develop some skills too slowly & some too quickly - it was my decision to "train" first to adequate stats & then go to work. My char has a full backround and his future as an elite assassin looks fairly clear, soon we will see what surprices the world has to offer him.
