Why can't I create rune?
   

I have learned circle3 and the ball of lightning spell. I have all that it needs (empty runestone, sulfur and rock crystal) but when I try to make the rune, it just says that I don't have enough resources. I have already made fireball rune so does it mean that I can only learn fire spells?

Make sure you have a written "Scroll of Ball Lightning" item also.

Download my G2Text1 Mod, a fan made patch, that changes the german text into english, it explains that part more 'clearly'.
