The difficult bar?!

I just noted the difficult bar... lol

Im wondering, if i lower it, will i get less "exp"?
What will change if i change the difficult to easier/harder? Is it only the enemies that will be easier to kill?

i hear that at the difficulty bar's highest setting, enemies do 5x damage to you and you do 1/5 the damage to them compared to the default setting, and at the lowest setting it is vice versa. and your skills go up from using them successfully, not by how many monsters you kill.

You won't get less exp if you turn the difficulty down.
Then it would not be much of a difficulty slider.

Less difficulty = less experience = lower level = more difficult.
That would not make any sence

Well with the diff. at max, I've heard that the game still "breaks" at the same point, except you start to level up faster because every monster that you kill takes X number more hits to kill... making you stronger... to the point of negating the use of the bar.

Then you make the enemy harder, they hit you more and you need to hit them more.
hats making you level up faster, so you get stronger.

Not much of a difficulty slider then

I play it with the setting in between the default and max difficulty, because if you put it at max, the only thing that happens is that the monsters take longer to kill (cliff racers) and some monsters take you down 300 hp which only leads to you having to rest more often. It doesn't give you a challenge in the way that you're afraid of dying, it just makes everything take more time.

I play at max (100). Tougher indeed, but I don't think enemies are 5 times tougher. Maybe 2x or 3x.

Wow, you must be very skilled to kill level 20+ characters with heavy armors at level 1...
