...how there is no difficulty setting, yet the game is never too easy or too hard (well, ok, later on it's too easy in combat, but still).

This, my friends, is a great achievement in a complex game like that... IMHO, this should be the future of single player gaming

1. no difficulty setting is more realistic

2. I would prefere difficulty setting in this game (so maybe realistic behaviour is not only thing I am searching)

And can you imagine how good it could be with it...
But I know, developers doesnt implement it, it is more realistic etc. Its ok, I just like games with it, because I can play them trought second time with higher difficulty.

To increase difficulty I would:
Insert many monsters,
Use only your second best weapon,
and use only your second best armor.
