Want to save 600MB of free space if you (want to)use speech?

Hello,

I have found a nice thing...
I never had 600MB of free space to hear speech .
So I looked trough the files and found a file called "Vdfs.cfg" I looked in here and saw :[VDFS]
$:\data\*.VDF,255
data\*.VDF
data\*.MOD
[END]
These things define where to find files that Gothic uses.
Well if you have looked on the second disc, you see that "speech.VDF" is not packed, and is in directory "data".
So I tried the following: add a line between the "data\*.MOD" and the "[END]". this would look like: "D:\data\*.VDF" without the "" signs. and where D is your CD(DVD) rom drive is. I've tried this and it works! The downside is that loading the game takes a bit longer . The major upside is that you save 600MB of disk space and have speech in your game!
This worked on my PC with W98, 550MHz, 128MB RAM.

Hope this works for every one.

It works..

But I still have 34 out 80 GB free, so it's not a problem right now. Thanks anyway!
