| Mods or console tricks: Playing game with diff. skin/model? |

Can it be done? I wanted to go through looking like Gomez, one of the bald templars, or maybe Cor Angar. I'm just sick of the main character's triangular ponytail and stupid tank-top that keeps him from showing off his toned abs while wearing light and medium templar armor.
Any help in this area would be good; I've tried possession, it's a very temporary solution at best, since you can't even talk to people when possessing another.

It's only possible if you create a mod; you need the Dev Mod Kit for this, and - depending on what you want - 3DStudio MAX.

I did it with Gothic 2; search threads in spoilers. Gothic 1 engine and data formats are similar.

"Goman" seems not to work with Gothic-2
"Goman" can move sound files (put your own sounds in)
"Goman" is in German (same as a lot of other good editing stuff.

Talking about different skins, - - You just got to try the Nude Babe "mod"
you start off as in original game but at level 20, strength 70, agility 90, and a mercinarys armor, and finally a weird electonic flame gun, wow this might just be what your after, you'll need the gothic player kit as you may not know? |
