download the mod kits install them into the correct paths(I'm not going to go into this here, if you need help tell me) once you have it installed delete the original gothicmod.exe file in your system directory. Copy gothic.exe paste it in the same dir and rename it to gothicmod.exe. enjoy the mods! Tested and true. I used the Blade mod to check it out. it can be found here:
http://www.soulofgothic.4players.de:1065/downloads/mods/Blade.exe

Now get to modding!!!

From what I have found out by digging through all of this stuff, I think I'm going to have to write a few tutorials.

With the posts that Silverbeast(Solomon) made, it may sound like I was joking about my first post. I am not. Try it, it SERIOUSLY works. Try it and you will see. If you think I'm a liar then wait until they come out with and english mod kit, which I doubt will ever show.

The person to talk to, if you want some qualified infos about modding, is Zonk. You can find his mail address in the memberslist.

Gorath, I don't understand what you meant in that post. Explain a little?

I mean Zonk knows what´s possible with the mod kit and what´s not, which external tools you need or should use, how much work it is, ...

Visit his homepage. You´ll hardly understand the German texts but there are pics too.

Yes I need to get ahold of him because me and a few friends already have the ball in motion on a MOD set in the Akira universe. With the vast amount of land you can create and the nice polycounts on the models we figured this is the savior engine.
