I can either take the Bad Cop attitude towards that post:
Or the Good Cop:

Firstly... you do not need such words to ask a question.

Secondly... you can talk to trainers, Diego and Scatty being two, and pay anywhere from nothing to 200 Ore for training in the desired attribute or skill. Depending on the amount that you increase the stat or skill, they will take away the balance of skill points.

Never touch a winch unless you are told to... they have a way of messing up and never opening again.

Skillpoints...are available for you to learn new abilities and increase your attributes. For example, you can increase your strength, dexterity, mana, train in weapons, learn theif skills with those points. However, different abilities require different amount of points. So sometimes you might want save them up.

To use spend your skillpoints on abilities, talk to a trainer (ex: Diego trains strength and dex, Scatty trains weapons, Fingers trains theif skills...)

Stand in front of the castle entrance (where Thorus is during the day) face him. Then turn left. Go straight ahead and you should encounter a person named Snaf (he's usually out of his hut during the day.) After you've passed his hut, turn right. There is Fingers.

Now let me ask something. There's something I didn't get. Did you download the game (=piracy) or download a savegame?

Probably savegame...

You gotta be real stupid to play to Level 4 and still not seem to have a clue. Hmmm... then again...

Sounds like a personal problem. Just start the game over and play it for real. You won't be able to figure it all out, I guess, but who does. Make a back up save! Do errands and stuff and fight wimp monsters until you get good enough with sword or bow to take on the tougher stuff. You'll want armor, but that's tough for now. Have fun.
