I read some where that there will be a Gothic 2. Is this true? Has it been announced? |

Hopefully yes - it has but not been announced yet - what has been announced is a sequel for Gothic, which is most porbably based on the same engine as Gothic.

Any word yet on what language that sequal is going to be? And if it's German (I'm guessing it probably is) are there plans on releasing an English sequal too?

Well, I am sure it will be available in German first of course - but once a publisher for the first Gothic is secured, I doubt there will be another delay of 4 months for future Gothic titles. |

damn it,
the thought of a sequal/mod for gothic is exciting, i only hope if they release it in german, that the english one will follow soon after, and i also hope they release it in new zealand quicker than the first... |
