Star Wars: KotOR - Updated Impressions @ GS

Gamespot have posted an updated hands-on preview of Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic. I'm not sure what parts have been updated so rather than quoting you can read the article yourself here.

No, it's not X-Box only... Some bright-bulb at Bioware thought it would be a good idea to release the X-Box version a few months before the PC version. So while the X-box version is due in July, I think the PC version isn't expected until October (?).

I hope they make a "real" PC version out of it, as I have come to dislike console ports, especially those that come from the XBox. They could have been great PC games, if they were developed for the PC in the first place, but usually suffer from bad controls and other console diseases.
And no, I'm never going to buy an XBox...

Unfortunately there seems to be a trend here. Obviously the KotOR Xbox version gets released first so it makes sense to promote that more heavily. But in other cases, such as PoTC I noticed preview after preview based on the Xbox version only even though both were released at the same time. This may just be co-incidence or accident but I certainly feel that good PC games are being made multiplatform with the Xbox and then the Xbox version gets preference.
