A bit of a mythical beast this one, 'been hearin tales of it all over the place, but i haven't been able to lasso it. 
SO, can ne1 tell me whereTF i can download the english MDK for gothic 2?
or say if its not out n when it'll be released n why
I know theres a german version, tried downloadin it but all the download links i found didnt work, i quess can't speak german neway
also a download link to the gothic 1 MDK (english of course) wud be useful especially if the gothic 2 MDK isnt out yet for us english speakers!
I can't wait to get ma paws on it, i've got so many ideas it itches ma brain! 
oh and, thx in advance =)

It's not out yet. Part of the MDK should be included in the addon, which obviously, most of us do not have. Why and when? This has been explained a thousand times. Blame the publishers for the long-delayed release date.

WorldOfGothic.de has it here (~70 MB) and here (~6 MB). The links are working for me as of July 27, 2004 at 18:30 EST.

You don't need to know German if you're using the translation mod. All programs, including Spacer 2, will be in English.
If you don't mind babelfishing some German sites, this post from the JoWooD forum gives you links to many editing tools and tutorials for G1/2 (Credits to kubaner98[TD] et al. for providing info and compiling the list).

Good luck. You won't get much help from the English community, so most of the learning will be done through trial and error unless you can do some babelfishing or translation.

Cheers! i haven't got the addon (yet) but i am gonna give the german mdk a go, normally i wouldn't bother but Gothic is a special case  , it has a lot going for it
Ps. I don't doubt you've noticed but i'm new around here (HI EVERYONE!  ), and you'll probably be seeing a lot more of me |
