Congratulations . I am afraid you'll have to wait for Gothic 2 to get the answers to your questions!

Jepz, I think so too. But I also don't think so, because it can be really weird for the ones who didn't play Gothic 1. But do you know (From TomTom maybe) what happened with the Barrier? It collapsed, yes I know, but why? |

TomTom is our resident Gothic speaker.
It was the Sleeper who was keeping the barrier strong enough so it would not come down. It was also the Sleeper who caused the barrier to be much bigger than it was supposed to be. I suppose the Sleeper's energy distrupted the magic of the barrier, and when the extra energy was removed, the barrier no longer had enough energy to sustain itself and collapsed. At least that's my theory. Am I close TomTom?

We'll find out in Gothic 2. They have to give you some reason to want to play it. It's like watching a good tv show and then that little "To be continued..." sign comes up. That's how they guarantee you'll come back for more.

It's weekend/a holiday here in Euroland. TomTom usually is on these Forums during work... actually, it seems to be part of his work ! Expect him to be back tomorrow... perhaps...

He works for Phenomedia (Piranha Bytes' mother company) and he's doing PR stuff. I don't think he HAS to talk to us on the boards but it sure ain't wrong to listen to the opinions of fans .
He lives in Germany as do the rest of the Phenomedia/PB people, I guess.

Nopez, the game can get a lot better because of it, but I know he works for PM, but I mean, does he live in Germany or in NY?
And what's PR? |

PR is public relations. He lives in Germany I think. At least we're in the same time zone.
