Irdorath - Orc Colonel’s Lair
   

I’m in the Orc Colonel’s lair on the Island of Irdorath. Have cleaned everything and everyone out up to this point. Did find Pedro and walked him to the ship.

Back in the Orc Colonel’s lair, there are two switches that are supposed to open a door in the wall to continue. One switch works, one does not. I’ve tried the working one and pulled it twice in a row, checked the non-working one, then tried pulling it three times in a row, then 4, then 5, and so on. Cannot get the non-working switch to work. I have tried different combinations but obviously not the right one.

Can someone help me out and give me the combination to these two switches?

You should first pull one of them, then the second. I'm not sure in which order.

Thanks, fellas. Will give it a try although I thought I had tried that sequence.

Hope it's just me and not a bug ... will have another go at it.

Hiya

I am also experencing the same problem that Soozie has described.

Is this a bug ? or are we doing something wrong ?

I have tried to pull the torch on the right but nothing happens (thats before pulling the torch on the left and after pulling the torch on the left), the only torch that seemsd to be 'operational' is the one on the left.

So Soozie have you solved this issue ?
If you did would you mind telling me how ?

Amnesia, sure will, but am really mad at myself. The reason I couldn't operate them is I was standing too close to them ... nose to nose, so to speak. Stand say about an arms-length in front of them and your click will work on each one. Left first, and then the one that appears not to work.

That did the trick... It seems that I was also standing too close.

Appologies for not replying sooner, but I've been a tad busy.

No problem, Amnesia.

I'm playing my second time as a Mercenary ... bow still doesn't shoot arrows, but am enjoying it nevertheless.

You should try another guild too
To shoot with bow you need to have arrows in your inventory, but if you can't shoot with it...how the hell did you get trough chapter 6???

Aphazel, I didn't completely finish Chapter 6. Just went as far as the tower with 2 switches.

My game seems to have a glitch in that it doesn't appear to recognize I have bows or bolts in my inventory. If I start with 100 arrows and fire them, I still have 100 arrows when I'm finished ... it just does not shoot the arrows.

Gorath gave me a suggestion on another thread using Marvin and then Waypoints, which I will try out when I get to Chapter 6 again.

oh, sorry...strange that you can't shoot arrows..
problably you can use waypoints..but you can also use F8 in marvin mode, this will make him fly/jump high and get over it

i had same prob, if you pulled left one without talking to pedro then right one doesn't do anything, so i just pulled the left one a few times then right one worked. Press k in marvin mode to teleport thru door.
