I spent some time reading the forums at the Codemasters site and I am not overly impressed with the community there.It seems like a great meeting place for every griefer out on a week-end pass from the local nut house.Although I admire the fact that DE will be heavily into pvp, unless it is done right I,m afraid DE will devolve into a gank fest and utter chaos.I also hope they spend alot of time with the balancing of the skills available.I am not saying everyone interested in DE is a griefer,etc. but go to their boards and check out the flame wars for yourself. |

I saw those boards a bit and im not really worried. SWG was exactly the same way, and although SWG didnt turn out like i hoped, the community was actually very nice once they got into the game. Rude posters are everywhere.
EDIT -- also, not saying you are wrong, but from what i saw, some of those people are nice... but you're right, others arent so nice... |
