Help with the Dragon Eggs.

I have been to all the caves but the quest is still in my list as not completed. I actually spent the last seven hours of gameplay making sure that I got to all the caves, and searched them all very, very well. I made my own map so that I could mark off each cave as I completed it.

I've sold many eggs to Bennet, but obviously I have missed something.

The only thing I can think of is that in one cave near Khorinnis, there is a winch that has no handle. Is that what I need to do? If so, where is the winch handle? I am getting a little frustrated with this because I knew this quest would be annoying, and took a lot of care when doing it so I didn't have to do it again. Given this problem, and the fact that I can't get Til and Rosi off my tail even though their quest is done, I am totally stalled in the game right now.

Can someone give me some help with this? I really, really don't want to have to backtrack another five or six hours.

Dragon Eggs, Mission Complete

I just completed this quest as a Dragon Hunter. Lee told me to talk to Bennet, Bennet gave me a map of the Caves of Khorinis. I used this map and returned to all the caves I've discovered before but find lizard men in them. I gave i think about 11 or 12 Dragon Eggs to Bennet.

Thought the quest was completed. But it was still there uncompleted. I thought I missed something too, but I didn't. I forget who I talked to exactly, but I think the mission either gets completed when you go to the Monastary after getting a letter from the Dark Wizard aka the "X-man." Or by speaking to Lord Hagen at the harbor City of Khorinis.

Try going on, I'm almost positive it will complete itself.

Don't give them to him, if you spare them you can get a lot of extra strenght.
In chapter 6 you'll learn how to make a +15 strenght potion of dragon eggs..

I recommend you go for the armor. It is my impression that you will need it more than a couple of strength points... 15 is nothing comparing to 100+ you may already have, when you come to think that armor protects you against each and every blow.

Spoiler:

Besides, you will be able to make one potion of that sort from the eggs you find on the island. I say there is no need to get greedy...

Just look through the Halls of Irdirath and you'll find it in a small room (I don't remember where)

Oh I see, so I go with my ship to the island, I collect all the dragon eggs etc..
Hmm so before I enter the temple with all the switches I search a small room.
I'll look out for it.
Oh wait, I just remember something, isn't it the small room with a bed and an alchemist thingie?
(You enter the temple, you have 2 ways, left right, at the right there's a small room with an alchemist bench and a bed, maybe a rune table I can't remember.

There's a cave way down at the bottom of the valley next to the east gate. If you are at the cave near the bridge on the way to the tavern you are almost directly above it, so it looks on the map like that's the cave marked but it's not. Go out east gate and head toward tavern and take those little steps to the right. Follow valley all the way down. You run into lots of field raiders and wargs. and acouple of shadow beasts. As far as the cave with the winch, you need molerat grease to open it. The only molerat grease I ever found was in the hold of the ship.
