How to kill bridge golem?

He is guarding on the way to one of focus stones. I can not kill him, I can not even do him some demage.
Is there some way how to defeat him (I know that it is possible to run around him, but I want to kill him)

Backwerds there is a cave, in that cave a door, behind that door is a chest and in that chest is a orc hammer.
That is the weapon that u have to use to take the bridge golem out.
By backwerds i mean not past the bridge golom but a siderout in the direction you came from.

I stumbled across some books in the library of the Water Mages. Two of these books: Arcanum Golum vol.1 and vol.2 talk about how to destroy three types of Golems (Stone, Ice and Fire).
