Methinks the two are taking turns on the same computer. Either that, or we have a bi-polar in our midst.

Hey, she has to do a lot more to earn such a title. Maybe we can push some more buttons. |

Yes, I know, because she uses my other computer. Unfortunately I couldn't stop her from finding the website.
It's a bit embarassing.
I think she read all your posts, she just isn't going to respond to all. She thinks I should defend her - not.
And it's Mushukyou, not some mushtuck shit asswipe.

Whether Rose and Mushukyou are the same person ain't the problem here.
It's just like this, don't generalize. Hell, I'm a woman (I think), and I wasn't offended. After all, all of these people are in jail, so - at least theoretically - they're all slaves to a certain degree.
Besides, since G2 will be playing in the outside world, the picture ought to be quite different, I think, and even if not, so what - I'm perfectly able to see the difference between real life and fiction.
The only thing I wished from G1 was to be able to play a female, even if it would have made the whole game a lot more difficult, at least unless you were level 20 or so . Not one of the slaves but a street punk thief having been thrown in because somebody thought she was a boy... I would have found it a real challenge to go 'undetected' in a men's prison for a long time... well, so I wrote a few story bits about it.
Generally I think - to cite Shprapnel - that opinions are like a**holes, everybody has one and they all stink .

haha true, true.
But saying you find this offensive is bs.
i dont think she ACTUALLY got OFFENDED by this, and it actually made her angry to think about slavery of women back in those days, it was just sexist and she thought she'd act apon it.. but its not sexist!.. this game isnt surpose to be reflected on today, so who cares!!
there is no arguement worth argueing about here i say... |

The fact that it's quite funny to be politically incorrect wasn't the reason leading to the "role" of women in GOTHIC.
Think about all the additional speech-samples, animations and armour needed to make the women completely functional npc's.
PB's choices were to implement women the way they did, or remove them completely.
It's all about time and money, and how to use limited resources the best way. |

Ok lemme explain something.
First lemme use fat people as an example. I am a fat guy. Now, if in Gothic fat people where killed shortly after arival in the colony it wouldn't really bother me. Most fat people are less physically capable, which is key in Gothic gameworld. Women are in general less physically capable, so they are of importance for sex and maybe cooking/cleaning. That's IN the game though. Not in the real world.
