I'm surprised that you had those posts hanging around... seeing as someone deleted my group on her way out of my life. That game was going to be a blast... I've still got most of my notes for the level 3 to 5 stuff and the level 6 to 8 adventure laying about. Even have the reason Antonio was targeted. _________________ Estuans interius, Ira vehementi

You kidding? I saved every last one of those e-mails. I have them all stored in Outlook and I even made a backup on a CD. It was my first PnP experience and I loved it. I certainly didn't want to forget it. It was great!
Please tell me why Antonio was targeted? I was always suspicious of that. _________________ Freeeeeeedom! Thank heavens it's summer!

All characters start at level one.
Each attribute will have a base of 8. You will have 40 extra points to add to any attribute. Use them judiciously. i think thats pretty generous actually, hehe.
so that you would start with
STR 8
DEX 8
CON 8
INT 8
WIS 8
CHA 8
<character name> (fighter)
STR 8+10 = 18 (18 is max)
DEX 8+10 = 18
CON 8+10 = 18
INT 8+5 = 13
WIS 8+5 = 13
CHA 8
Each of you starts with the wages from service as armed guards for an esoteric group of wizards called the Order of the Morning Star, which is 4500 gold pieces. You have been layed off of duty since your contract is up and you all are free to roam as you will. All of you are together at the beginning, as fellow guards (wimpy guards at that). So you start with 4500 gp each, a handsome sum -- but the contract lasted approximately three months, so it was well earned. I'd better stop here before getting carried away. hmm this is gonna be easy for me..
EDIT -- Youre also stripped of the guard gear. No keeping that stuff. It belongs to the Order. So you have common peasant clothes along with a lot of money to spend.

Sounds good to me. BTW, a handy link for all the players who don't have the books, etc: http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=d20/article/srd35 _________________ Freeeeeeedom! Thank heavens it's summer!

okey, goshuto has joined the group! That is the last spot for now, so there wont be any openings for a while. I might allow two more players in later, to take the total up to six, but that will be after i get my footings. Ive also got about twelve DnD books now, with more coming. Welcome to the group, goshuto; i will send you an invitation once you PM with your email address. |

Hi:)
Id love 2 play with u guys if there is still room.
Havent played dnd in years, and it looks like you have a good group going.
If your party is full im sure you could use a wizard`s familiar:)
Are u planning to play 2nd or 3rd edition rules? _________________ Perfection lies in the understanding that it is unattainable. |

If Ammon doesn't want to DM more than 4 players, then you can take my spot, Kensai. _________________ "Tree stuck in cat. Firemen baffled."--Simcity 3K

I think 5 players would be fine. Then we wouldn't be stuck with the standard fighter, mage, cleric, and rogue party.
@Kensai: What ruleset were you looking to play?
If you're worried about buying books, don't be. That link I posted has everything a player would need. Only the DM would need more. _________________ Freeeeeeedom! Thank heavens it's summer!

Since sometimes not everybody will be participating, I might as well let in a few more people. Six sounds right to me, despite the supposed difficulty. I will just have to put you up against a few wyverns instead of that little poor goblin, lol.
So therefore, Kensai along with Roqua are invited. Send me your email addresses via RPGdot Private Message please
We are using 3.5 edition ruleset, with a little bit of my house rules.
And these are the last allowances, so please dont anyone else ask, because its too late, all spots are filled, and until someone leaves the group, there wont be an opening again for a long time.
Welcome to the group! You'll get invitation emails as soon as possible. |

@Roqua: I can just see you as a big, hairy, half-orc barbarian. _________________ Freeeeeeedom! Thank heavens it's summer!

I was going to be a half orc barbarian too, or a human barb. Or a fighter if there was another barb. With a 40 point buy you could have a good paladin or monk. As long as I'm a fighter type is all I care about, even if its a cleric. I only know the rules for 3.5 because of toee, I will look through the material on the website and see what is different.
The 18 max is without racial adjustment right? So the barb could have 20 str if half-orc?
Is going half-orc worth it for the str (and hit to int and cha)? Half-Orcs get a movement bonus right? _________________ Vegitarian is the Indian word for lousey hunter. |

Yes, and no, half-orc base land speed is 30 feet. I dont see a speed bonus in this manual.
Roqua, check your email so you can visit the website and get involved. |

Antonio was attacked as a mistaken identity... the water elemental mistook him for the newborn baby of a noblewoman because he was carrying the pendant the child was supposed to be wearing (like taking candy from a baby). In his defense it was because he was trying to show off and get it enchanted and claim credit for it... but it was weighing on his conscience which is why he wanted to bolt from General Tetran's presence as soon as possible. He was horrified at the possibility that the general might have been able to sense his theft or guilt.
And with stats like that don't worry much about six characters... nothing is going to challenge them at low levels anyways. I use a super-heroic stat buy system myself... but no character should have THREE 18s. _________________ Estuans interius, Ira vehementi
