Yep, the Fallout 2 intro was way better than that of Fallout 1 (I mean the movie with the shadowed family, that get's executed upon exiting their Vault).
WarCraft 3's intro? Why would a normal sane person put that on a list of Good Game Introductions - it was done marvellously, but that doesn't mean it is doing any good to the game (on the other hand, if we are continuing speaking WC3 I must say that some of the middle game intro's and Frozen Throne's intro were very, very good, indeed. Especially the One where Archimond does the sand-voodoo thingie to destroy the Violate City).
Freelancer's intro was very good, too. It really set me up to play the game for some time (until it became far too challenging for a person, who had never played this kind of game before). |

The latest 'best game intro' I've seen is that of WH40k: Dawn of War. IMO the best by far, technically speaking, and it captures the (tabletop and comp) game's atmosphere perfectly.
