Okay first off, this was just so cool. One of the elite orcs noticed I was a little to strong so he tried to drown me,
YEpp really( a little weird considering orcs don't like water, but maybe he was desperate). Any way this is what he did I was running across the water, and suddenly he jumped me and I ended up under water. Fortuantly he was the one to drown first so I could get up. Really cool. (Probably some kind of bug though
Here, is a question that might have been asked before but....
Does it make any diffrent between having 105% in one-handen/two-handed weapons from having 100% ? I can't notice any. |

I never noticed orcs wanted to drow me, I think he 'threw' you in the water by exedent.
As far as I know there is no difference between 100% and 105% combat skill. You must have learned it from books because it's imposible to train more than 100%. |

You cant learn fighting skill (as 1 or 2- handed weapons ,bows,x-bows) from books. _________________ I come from space. From outer space! |

If you wear, eat or whatever, something that drains a skill, then train in it, and then remove or undo the draining, you can train with trainers to over 100. The orc rings are one example. _________________ =Member of the Nonflamers Guild=

There are 2 books Lutero sells that if you buy and read you get 5 points, one time, each in 1H and 2H. _________________ Just watch out you don't stress yourself out.

O.K GothicGothicness,
That was not a bug, all orcs in Gothic II can swim. Npc's that land on top of
another will imediately jump up high into the air (this is a collision course code
routine written into the Gothic II game code) this prevents the game from
"hanging" ect', however, when this situation happens under water, the npc who
is underneath the other can not get away by the only way out, "up", that's
assuming the uppermost npc/monster stays in the same spot. _________________ Forever aches my wretched soul, for Chromanin locked in that dark hole, though crypted key i've yet to learn, he knows one day i will return. |

O.K jmurdock,
There are several ways for this to happen, the most common is the "shock"
or "stun" effect on the current running ani, I have done this many times and it is true, if you want to try a simulation let me know and i will do a "runthrough"
but it would be a bit longwinded? (please say no) _________________ Forever aches my wretched soul, for Chromanin locked in that dark hole, though crypted key i've yet to learn, he knows one day i will return. |

It's ok. It was just funny watching him sit there, scratching his behind like he was on watch. But he was underwater and his hp steadily dropping.
Figured you had an explanation though. I think you know more about the ins and outs of this game than anybody. _________________ Just watch out you don't stress yourself out.

Try them next time you fully trained on 1H or 2H. I don't know, 5000 gp seems cheap for 5 point of weapons expertise.
You don't get a level out of them though. So if you have 55 and read one, you'll have 60 but still be a fighter. You won't go up to master. _________________ Just watch out you don't stress yourself out.

I agree but right now I am guildless. So it would be best if I bought them in the end of chapter 2 or during chapter 3.I am planning to continue as a mage this time but it got me in thinking "cause I dont want to waste LP for dex and strenght .and I dont want to raise them with foods either. So what I am going to do.....right now I have difficulties to go on 'cause lot of missions as bandits at light house, blood chalices need both dex. and strenght. _________________ I come from space. From outer space! |

For sure. But this is the best time for you to raise them with lp since they cost you double later. _________________ Just watch out you don't stress yourself out.
