lots of bandits

Hi,

I've already solved the bandits quest (those that are near akim's farm).
Now I just accidently stumbled upon a large bandit camp upon the rocks
near Lee's merc camp.
There's a tower there, a bridge and LOTS of bandits. I stumbled across
Dexter and he told me I showed up in the wrong place and attacked me.
I cannot remember whether I've met Dexter before, but anyhow, I killed the poor sob. And with him the rest of those bastards as well

Will this ruin some plot or anything later on ?
(btw I am still in ch1)

Thanks!

Did you kill the very first bandit you saw? (Back in the time when you have just got out of Xardas' Tower)

If so, there's no opportunity for you to know Dexter's name. Expect the entire camp to become hostile at you.

Dexter's camp is optional to the game, so don't feel sad if you slaughtered them all.
