Hey there Patrax,
I sure would like to see this armour in crimson colour just like the
"Daedric" armour in the old "Daggerfall" game.
Have you thought about, or tried mixing and matching different armours?

If you use the texure and anim from my tutorial. this should work.
in game press C and then type MARVIN, then C again. MARVIN-Mode or something like that will pop up on the top. now press F2 and then type insert itar_pal_skel. it should pop up in front of you.
to post it you need and website. if you dont have one just e-mail me it and i will post it for you.
me hunting

Make sure the texures you changed are called
NW_MISC_PALSTATUE_ARMOR_01-C.TEX
NW_MISC_PALSTATUE_HELM_01-C.TEX
and the anim that goes with it is
ARMOR_PAL_SKELETON.MDM
ill send you my texture.
use the GothicVDFS to open it and unpack it.
just replace my textures with yours and then build it back into a vdf file.
i think once you looked at a working mod, you will have a better understanding of how it works.
Thats the way it is for me.
for it to work the "_work" Folder must be on your desktop.
When you open your *.vdf file with GothicVDFS, it should look like this
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
(name of VDF)
...- _WORK
........- DATA
............-ANIMS
...............--_COMPILED (ARMOR_PAL_SKELETON.MDM
.....................-TEXURES
................--_COMPILED (NW_MISC_PALSTATUE_ARMOR_01-C.TEX)
(NW_MISC_PALSTATUE_HELM_01-C.TEX)
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
please PM me your e-mail if this dosnt help you.
E-mail me what you have made and ill see if i can make it work if all else fails |

Hey there Patrax,
Thanks for doing the red armor,
Well, - - - it looks good but tell me, are you adding a red "layer" as a
colour wash or another method? - - my own preference is to colour the high-
lights or even better, the lowlights (as in chrome effect) this keeps the "whites"
white if follow me? (or even black with "glint" for lowlights) what do you think?

Here is a pic of Eat_leads first texture. Great Job!
Wulf.
can you post something you have made.
you sound like you have been doing this for a bit.
i use a softlight tool with photoshop.
but this is only to do something fast.
if i really get into something i will usually spend hours on it. |
