Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion - Video Interview @ New Gaming Rad

A site called New Gaming Radio has a video interview with Bethsoft's King of PR, Pete Hines. According to Evil Avatar where this was spotted, highlights include "new info on Telekenises, the 'Arcane University'". The file is apparently around 170Mb for a one hour (?) interview and you can grab it at the link above or mirrors at Spiffness Direct or Filefront.

Not a bad interview can get a little slow.
Last 2 questions where 1 about Fallout and 1 about Terminator, everything else was Oblivion.

Pete does kinda slip about the release, one comment when he didnt want to answer a question about the single Unicorn in the game and if you could tame it, he said.
Well I dont want people to say, "it happened just like Pete said a month ago (err <cough> or 2 months ago).

He looked really tired in the interview, mentioniing he was in New York the day before, hehe.

"on Telekenises"

Well it is mentioned that can be used to disable traps and take objects, but will not be able to pick up people or animals.
Huumm, Mod ideas anyone.

"Arcane University"

Mentions it is to everyones benifth to at least join the Mages Guild to gain access to the university, since the only Enchanting Alter in the game are located there, you can still of course find, steal or buy Enchanted weapons.

No Leveitate spells.

Disabled easy leveling of Athletics thru jumping around everywhere.

It was a very boring interview.

The camera angle was bad. There wasn't much colors.

Pete looked so tired and seemed like he didn't want to be there...

The interviewer was really really bad. Probably his 1st interview ever... Maybe.

Don't know how I managed to watch the whole thing. Curiosity perhaps?

I'll stop here and wait for the game to come out.

To hell with whatever info they'll release.

It was long I just let it run in the backgroud as I did other things.

I bet Pete has looked like that for the last 3 months.

Terminator
Well Bethesda made 7 of those games in DOS in the 1990s, so the intrviewer was hoping for a scoop on possiblity of them pick up the lisense for another game.
Pete said, not likely but never say never.
He mentioned that it is one of the most complicated lisenses, so many people to deal with and red tape.
Here is links for you, plus you can find stuff on Gameranking.com too.

Several were very good for their time, think Duke3D & Quake time period and before, Bethesda was using Missions an almost fussion of RPG and Shooter.
