Thief: Deadly Shadows (PC/XBox) - Huge Q&A @ TTC

Daniel from Thief: The Circle just informed us of this huge 'Thief: Deadly Shadows' Q&A at their site. It sports over 60 questions and answers all revolving around Ion's third 'Thief' game. Both, questions and answers have been compiled from forum posts.

quote:
1) Are the levels larger than those in Invisible War?

Yes; in general, Deadly Shadows has more gameplay space per map load than Invisible War did

Means: Even the biggest map in Thief 3 will be smaller than the first level from Thief 2.

quote:
2) Is water in the game?

Yes, but you cannot swim in it.

That's totally shit, IMHO. Swimming always was a cool element of the gameplay.

quote:
4) Rope arrows. Yes or no? (ZylonBane)

Sadly, rope arrows will not be appearing in the game.

Yay - let's do some totally unnecessary changes - we break the traditions of the Thief series, but who cares?
Well, I do.

Bah, all this is making me sad.
