So now that Infogrames has completed the partnership, has their been any announcements about the game? We may be excited that someone so popular is helping to put out a (hopefully) great game, but there is still no news on the game itself.
Or is there and I am missing it? _________________ I don't do autographs. |

What kind of news do you want? Infogrames didn't buy the worldwide GII distribution (etc.) rights to not distribute the game. _________________ Jaz |

Do you think that the game can still be released in may?
What do they need to do now to release the game? |

Let's hope may! May, may, may, may, may! At least I think Infogrames will be much more eager to release the game than JoWood was after they bought the rights! (or at least much faster than JoWood) _________________

But ehm,..everything about the English Gothic 2 is done?
the voiceacting and stuff, the game itself is totally finished, it's just up to Infogrames now? _________________ All for respect, all for the bread

if infogrames is smart .... |
|
...they'll advertise heavily during may and release in june and continue a heavy advertising campaign through june to capitalize on summer sales ... they also should release before Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic and Deus Ex 2 in my honest opinion to capitalize on RPG gamer hunger.
Us that have played Gothic know how awesome the game and the sequel are (and how bad ass Pirana Bytes are) but Gothic is a relatively unkown game. I hope Infogrames does this right and gets Pirana Bytes the worldwide recognition they truly deserve.
Just talking about Gothic makes me want to play through it again .... |

A fair bit, really. They'll need to get box art, distribution logistics and promotions ready. Normally they'd have been working on this for some time. As Kabduhl suggested, they'll need to decide what sort of build-up campaign they want to do. It might also be a matter of looking at how heavy their current release schedule is an looking for a suitable lull.
Be patient - it's obviously coming and with a bit of luck won't take too long . |

Nice to have some info at least. Does anyone know when there going to say anything about the reelase? It'd be nice if it came out in May or June. Even though it should of been out three months ago. |
