does anyone know how to fix the image tearing???
   

i have real bad image tearing,ive read to edit the morrow wind ini. file to set the maxfps to the same as the refresh rate of my monitor ,ive tried that with know luck ,can anyone help me???

How about posting some info on your system, drivers, etc, otherwise its impossible to help! Also, if you are sure that all your drivers etc. are ok, this might be something to call official tech support about.

Try enableing Vsync in your display if your using an Nvidia card it will be located inder "More Direct 3D".Another issue could be if your using an Nvidia based card with Win 2k or XP there is a problem with Nvidia drivers where it causes your monitor to run at a constant refresh rate of 60 which can cause tearing at higher refresh rates.Check out the popular hardware sites many of them have fixes for the refresh rate problem.
