Yes I did, prove me wrong please, just don't put your bullshit on the forum without backing it up. Prove me wrong, then I'll keep my mouth shut.

Take my statement, break it down, prove what I said was incorrect with facts please, otherwise, you keep your mouth shut. I still recall seeing whining after the developer commented on censorship, so um, hmmmm... I'll wait.

You didn’t read shit…and if you did then your abilities of comprehension suck!! All the threads were about censorship in the media and views there of. People with little minds tend to read little things and miss the bigger picture. I suggest you REREAD all the threads and then take a step back and dwell on all that you have read. Then maybe you’ll understand what all the talk was about. I know one thing…I wasn’t about you whacking-off in front of you computer. GROW UP!

The cencorship in Gothic was not as bad as what was feared that much is true... ANY form of cencorship is however very bad in and of itself nomatter what it actually is that is being cencored...

In this case it turned out just as I thought it would in the first place... I mean it's not TOO bad... I personally couldn't care less about wether or not some character in there is wearing a bikini or not and I don't think anyone else *really* gives a shit either...

I am hovever opposed to cencorship in any form it may take, and that is what this diskussion was really about in the first place... Not about what was cut, but about the fact that anything was cut at all (or covered up as i were in this case)...

Nobody would have mastrubated to the "polygonal nude chick" nor do I think anyone ever intended to, but if we just sit back and silently take this kind of cencorship then there is a clear risk that we just keep on accepting it little by little... Whats next? The language? The blood? The fact that they worship anything else then the "one and only god" and thusly lead kids on to the path of occultism (like the church has said about the Harry Potter books)?

Cencorship is a VERY serious subjekt and not to be taken lightly... Anyone with a mature and developed mind would realize this and not make a idiotic comment about mastrubation in connection with it...

(would however with my life defend his right to make an ass of himself in this manner *LOL*)

Ahhh…intelligence. How refreshing! I totally agree with you…I tried to convey to that poor soul that that was what all the talk was about. I do admit, his ranting and adolescent attitude did get me a little riled. But reading his messages in other threads tell me that this guy has deep seated issues and probably can’t help it.

Censorship in the arts is indeed very dangerous and I am totally against it…in any form. The artist creates something according to the plan in his head/heart and strives to make his creation as true to his ideals as possible. Anything that would alter his ideals from what he intended, to me, is censorship. I work in the computer industry but I am an artist at hart. If I wanted the create a piece of jewelry that displayed something that was offensive to someone does that mean that I can’t make…or will I have to alter it so it won’t be offensive?

God some 10 year olds just don't understand that censorship isn't just about fixing some nudity. You missed the whole point Llama, but I guess ignorance is bliss. I don't watch edited shows on network tv, even if they had to cut a single bad word. I can't stand the fact that they altered someones whole idea. Censorship sucks, but if the majority finds something offensive, or a business will lose profits, they will gladly compromise the integrity of the work in question.
