i got past the 2 orc warriors and 1 orc shawman and am now in the ruins of the old camp but the gate is down to the castle amd i cant stop to talk to the knights because wargs and orc warriors keep chaseing me im only lev 6 and in chapter 2 is there some kind of teleport rune or scroll to get there? i really need help!!!! |

try the search option... the answer is in several threads; however i'll answer it again anyway.  almost on the complete opposite side of the castle from the gate is an old orc battery ram, you can run up it and jump up a few ledges to get into the castle, but you'll need to get past all the orcs so either hope for the best or take a speed potion to get you there

Don't wory about the Orcs that are chasing you, as soon as you reach the battery ram they will stop comming after you.  |

My suggestion is to keep close to walls of the castle while running and jumping, when orcs try to strike you with theyr axes.

I have the same problem as well......but I manage to lure some single orcs out and dispatched them.....I am still not in the castle at the moment.
I am also wondering..we may run to safety by the ram..but later on..the quest will need you to get out of the castle again and you still have the challenge to run from orcs. 
I am at level 15 when I entered VOM in chap 2.
Maybe its best to try get rid of some orcs first....then maybe later on you don't have to face so many.
Any suggestion will be great as I am still sneaking around , killing orcs and to find the cleared opportunity to get onto the ram. |

I asked same question 
so i can answer now
at the left side from the castle, there's a batting ram from the orcs, its stuck in the wall from the castle, walk over it and u get safely in the castle, oh yeh, just keep running, they can't hit you if you just run to the batting ram |

you should swim down river for a while.when you exit the river youmust kill
a few lurkers,wolves.walk along the top of the hill behind the castle(at some point you should be able to see the ram).run towards the ram(there should be 2-3 orcs around).when you get to the ram you'll notice that the orcs stop following you.that is because they can't reach youyou should be able to kill them easily from there.then when you need to get out of the castle again this path should be clear |

th eother way to get to the ram is very simple.....run like hell and pray you make it when you run to the castle you can walk through the dry moath before the orcs are down there you already past them
