Single Player, but LINKED

Hey i was wondering if it was possible to have 2 game modes, a Single-Player Normal(which is what you guys are playing) and a Single Player Linked.

In this Linked gameplay, lets say I start my guy up, i then proceed to drop a sword into a pond. I exit out. My friend gets on my computer then using his own character, goes to the exact pond and finds the sword I left him.

Or if my friend was an assassin and wanted to assassinate me. He could sneak into my house, then depending on his (Char lvl + sneak skill) try and 1shot kill me in my sleep. My chances of waking up are rolled against his by using my ("Awareness skill" + Char Lvl). If I wake, I become an NPC and the computer controls for me. If I win, when I log on, there'll be a message saying I was attacked and my friends body is there for me to loot. If I die, same message with outcome, and I was free to be looted by my friend.

Maybe there could be a penalty for dying by a PC but you still wake up where you exitted out if you died.

I don't know if any of you guys played the ol' skool Usurper and Red Dragon but thats how I'm thinking about this. If a mod would allow us this it'd be great.

I met my wife playing Legend of the Red Dragon. I thought she was a gamer until I found out that she was hunting for intellegent men in the most popular application on the board.... fortunately, she settled for me.

I don't see any way this could happen. Ever. Well... that's not true.

If you wrote two plug ins and manually rewrote each one after every game 'session' making changes that you'd done to everything in the world you could do this. Of course, it would probably take you 20 hours of hard modding to simulate the changes you make in an hour of play...
