Final Fantasy for the PC...and what about Duke Nukum

A couple of quick questions:
1. Is the Final Fantasy single-player series ever coming back to the PC
and
2. Wht's the latest on Duke Nukum? Did they give up on that project, it seems like it's been five or six years in production

1. I don't know, but I highly doubt, they are some of the best-seller titles on the consoles market, and I guess that Sony is paying the developers big bucks it stays that way, and as far as I just recalled, Sony is one of the major investrors/share holders/or whaterver of the developing studio.
2. I assume you're asking bout Duke Nukem : Waiting Forever Last thing I heard was from an article @ IGN about games missing in action (I would normally give a link, but I don't remember where or when I saw it) saying it will most probably be released sometime next year, and that the grafics of the game would be compeatable to those of titles such as Far Cry, Half-Life 2 and Doom 3.

1. More than unlikely.
2. 3D Realms released many games which made millions of $ for them. Max Payne earned more than 10 Mio and was then sold for fortysomething Mio to Take2. This had to be shared with Remedy(?) of course. If there´s one independent developer in the world who can affort to take as much time as they want it´s 3D Realms.

1) Why should they? There's no real incentive in doing so, regarding how badly FFVIII did compared to the console title.
2) Duke probably went undercover in Argentina and now lives in a villa close to those of the TF2 and Prey guys.
Or else, the Rigelatins finally got him after all.

1. Possibly, if someone makes a playable PS2 emulator!

2. Saw a gameplay movie about a year ago, and it looked really good. Speedboats, riot shields, nice graphics. What more could a Duke fan want? Then, of course, nothing happened. Maybe the game will never be released, it'll just be a never-ending publicity-generator for 3DRealms.
