I just tought players could post interesting facts here about Gothic2. I'll start:
...that Orcs can't swim? Seriously, once I was on a bridge, when two warrior orcs attacked me. Clumsy as they were they fell into the river below. i could see them moving. As I came down there a few seconds later they were both dead, lying at the bottom of the river 
...if you cast 2 demons they will start to fight eachother  . Therefore you can cast as many skelletons as you like but only one demon at a time
...eating 50 dark mushroms will give you +10 mana 
...black troll appears to be imune to any kind of spells

My favorite is "Donation 1000 gp for Innos (by a summ of 50 gp tp Darion) give you a wery nice bonuses. All praises to Innos". 25 apples give good bonus too (+1 str). |

They can swim. If you try to use ranged or magic over water they will come after you and swim over the water to attack you. And they will succed, and the thing is you can't hit them with magic in water

...that wargs are incredibly stubborn ? Once they start to chase you, they won't let you go. Once, when I wen't from the hearbwitch Sagita I ran across some wargs and used the speed potion. I stopped at Secobs farm and after a few seconds wargs came after me.
Oh, yeh I forgot about the spell that makes trolls into cute little trollies  .

Yes, of course, my bad But if you stop in the water (while swimming) they will go back again, like they don't see you in water or something |

Orcs swim, I've seen them, when had the orc warlord quest, they swam across the river to get me, it wasn't a mistake. What was funny was one stopped chasing me and dropped to the bottom of the river and didn't even look at me . Just sat there and drowned,

If black Trolls are imume to any kind a spells then how could I have killed one with some fully charged fireballs. |

EDV thats strange. I blasted fireballs at black troll but nothing happened to him I even tryed the breath of death on him which deals a huge amount of magic damage, but nothing helped. Then I summoned a demon which killed him within few seconds .

Orcs can swim definitely. For who played g1: the entrance of the goblin cave. There are a few orcs guarding them and I was under in the wather so I lured them in and they swum to the land again and I killed them there. But they can't jump and climb like we can

Did you use a large fireball or small one. I used a large one, fully charged. |

It's got to deal a certain amount of magical damage. Cause the damage it causes is the initial less the critter's resistances. Just like the hero.

Jmurdock I think I understand now. Its just like when the seekers attack me but they cant hurt me because my armor is too good  .
