Dungeon Lords: Review @ PC Gameworld

Another rather negative review of 'Dungeons Lords' comes from the chaps at PC Gameworld. They awarded Heuristic's/DreamCatcher's action RPG a score of 40%.
Glitches, bugs, missing features and horrible gameplay are all a part of Dungeon Lords. Avoid this one at all costs.

I have seen and played both the good and bad RPG's over my years but I have never played anything as unfinished and buggy as Dungeon Lords. Most of the features that have been promised are missing and the features that are there work very poorly. It's a huge disappointment for fans that are craving a fun role-playing game because if it wouldn't have been rushed it could have been a good game. Instead what we get is a mess that is riddled with thousands of bugs, a flawed combat system, long load times, poor performance, and brain dead AI.

While I agree with the findings, I must say that is a horribly written article. Did all the good writers leave when PC Gameworld sold out and became advertisement city?

I agree and for this guy to say "I have seen and played both the good and bad RPG's over my years but I have never played anything as unfinished and buggy as Dungeon Lords." he is either very young or forgot about the cyber trainwreck 'Descent to Undermountain.' That gets my vote for the 'all-time big budget computer gaming disaster.' Dungeon Lords is a pretty bad game, but not that bad, IMO.

Yes! Descent to Undermountain!!! No, Dungeon Lords is not nearly that dire. There are bugs, there are missing features, but the game is still very playable. I do not recommend it, but I can see why someone would like it. I can't imagine anyone liking DtU.

Has Bradley been called to account for this disaster? What does he have to say for himself?
